Spring Architects worked with Willow Wood Primary School during 2016 and 2017 to design and realise 2 new classrooms, a nursery and re-modelling and improvements to the existing school.
I was impressed with the professionalism, creativity and solution-focused approach of the team.
Spring Architects listened carefully to our vision and incorporated our wishes into their design; they also worked closely with our school community, including the pupils, as the build progressed.
The resulting building is imaginative and purposeful and met the brief we gave them and I am delighted with the result. It was really good to see how the architects had considered the needs of the clients, in this case young children, for example windows being placed so that children would be able to see out if they were playing on the floor or standing at an easel painting.
Overall, Spring Architects were a pleasure to work with and also delivered a great job and I have no hesitation in recommending the company to you.

Steve was our project architect for the refurbishment of about 5,000 square feet of old and dilapidated office space. Our brief was for new business incubation spaces, meeting and conferencing facilities. I also had stipulated that the look and feel should reflect our corporate image for a new generation digital business. I am delighted with the end result, which exceeded my expectation. Steve made the whole process very easy and managed the project through to completion on time and on budget”

Dr J Mooney – Managing Director Render Nation

“We recently engaged Spring Architects on the design then subsequent planning & building regulation applications for our residential extension.

Steve quickly understood our requirements, and both enhanced our own initial ideas as well as proposing alternative options. Subsequent drawing were clearly presented and explained, which resulted in a final detailed set of plans that we were happy with and fully understood.

The Planning and Building Regulations applications were then driven forward by Steve to a successful conclusion. Throughout the whole process, in addition to being professional and knowledgeable, we have found Steve to be particularly conscientious, personable, and helpful.”

Greg Johnson

“We thought we may struggle to achieve our goal of a function suite to the rear of our pub.  We are next to a Grade 1 listed church and in a Conservation Area, but thanks to the detail applied by Spring Architects we not only had our plans approved, but we were also complemented by English Heritage on the design.”

Steve Williams – The Stanley Arms, Aughton

We Engaged Spring Architects on an ambitious redevelopment of a dilapidated 60’s style bungalow in a prestigious part of the Wirral. They discussed our vision of the proposed development and then produced a contemporary designed two-storey four bedroom house doubling the liveable floor space area.
The design sailed through planning and Steve sympathetically managed the process from beginning to its conclusion. For any future projects, Spring Architects would be my architects of choice.

We recently appointed Spring Architects on a project that was extremely challenging due to programme and budget constraints.
In conjunction with myself, Design Manager they quickly established all the key project risks and provided concise information to ensure costs were established early on in the project and as a team we could review options to ensure we were working within the required budget.
The development of design information was aligned to our requirements and ensured that we achieved the required start date.
Spring Architects demonstrated their ability to work as a team member, whilst providing us with flexibility and then ultimately accurate information for construction.
We would have no hesitation in recommending them to others and look forward to working with them in the future.

“We commissioned Spring Architects to produce a design and planning application for a new build house adjacent to our current property. The site was challenging due to its location on the edge of a greenbelt zone and neighbouring concerns. However we were delighted with the final design proposals that not only respected our brief but also mitigated other urban design problems. Steve represented us at planning committee which resulted in a majority approval. We would recommend the practise to anyone considering an architect for a new build house.”

Terry Hammill – National Director BNI

I approached Spring Architects on a friend’s recommendation at the start of our project of major renovations. Steve worked closely with us to understand our specific requirements and provided expert advice on what was achievable within our budget. The final plans provided by Steve were innovative; sympathetic to the original structure yet retaining the ‘wow factor’ we were looking for. I would have no hesitation in recommending Spring Architects and would certainly use them again on future developments.

Paul Marray – Caldy

“A ‘renovation’ would be the ultimate understatement to describe our project, where we effectively rebuilt and re arranged an old barn conversion. The project demanded a prolonged phase of design and planning and 24 months of on site construction, which Steve led and coordinated. Throughout, he was utterly professional and struck exactly right balance of patience and proactivity. He brought creativity whilst listening and responding to our desires and needs. We both have extremely busy jobs and a young family which Steve navigated deftly, advocating and acting as we needed him to. We love our new home and we still hear the ‘wow’ from our friends who see the transformation. Above all, we are fortunate to have met Steve as a person, he was a pleasure to get to know and work with.  We will always be grateful for his part in making a massive undertaking filled with potential pitfalls, easy and disaster-free. And for the space we are lucky enough to call home.”
