Our client Paul Marray purchased a large dormer bungalow on the edge of the Conservation Area in Caldy, Wirral. The property offered great potential to contemporise and extend to accommodate their young and growing family. The site was bordered by large, mature trees with a large lawned garden.
The existing first floor was modest in size, accommodating three dormer bedrooms.
Our response was to demolish the existing single storey double garage and create a new two storey extension which linked to the original bungalow via a first-floor gallery. The gallery afforded views, via several roof lights, to the landscaped gardens and to a large kitchen and dining area on the ground floor. The existing spaces were completely refurbished and our client is amazed with how light and spacious their new home is.
